Our story ...

It all started with an idea, but there might have to be a few hundred before it starts. And that's what Turquouise is - an idea after the idea.

What do you do when all you wanted was a whole lot of land but on the land there is a big white building that is in much need of love and new spirit? You paint it blue, fill it with art and open the doors for delicious food and coffee! That's how Turquoise came to be.

Today Turquoise Café is a place for family gatherings, events and post-walk coffees. Every Sunday we host the Djouce Mountain Farmers Market where a bunch of wonderfully creative stall holders have a place to sell their food and nik-naks. We don't believe in owning art which is why you can buy everything you see inside the cafe and you will always find something new for sale.

But as mentioned, Turquoise was just an idea after the idea - and the original plan is yet to be revealed. Stay tuned.

... it's just getting started.

Our Values

Our customers always come first,  we want Turquoise to be a place of relief,  joy and peace. We stand strong against any sort of discrimination against race, class, gender or belief.  At Turquoise you can be whoever you want to be and be proud.  This is why we thrive to keep our prices down and make sure all of our products are allergy and whatever-diet friendly. We will never hesitate to help out where we can - just reach out and ask.

We also want all of our customers to live their life to the fullest and reach personal goals. We believe in pushing the limit to the very end - and maybe even a step further. Even though we might just seem like a regular old coffee shop on the outside, if you get to know us we will do whatever it takes to make your dream come true. Especially if its a crazy one.
